Great design isn't just for big budgets. Every small business and DMO should have a brand that works as hard as they do. At Sondery Studio, I'm the designer who shows up in your corner with strategy, heart, and a whole lot of creative range.

The Sondery Brief
A blog on branding, design, and all things creative.
Hello & Welcome.
I’m Emily!I’m a graphic designer and brand builder with over 15 years of experience. After working in the print industry and managing wildly creative projects, I was introduced to the tourism industry while serving as the in-house creative for Visit Saint Paul. During my five years there, I focused on graphic design, as well as capturing photos and videos, and was honored to receive Destination International’s 30 Under 30 recognition in 2017. My most recent role in the tourism industry was as the Creative Director at Zartico, where I built and maintained brand consistency while handling all the day-to-day design work.
From day-to-day design execution to high-level brand strategy—I truly enjoy bringing a full and purposeful brand to life through every touchpoint of a business or destination.
As a designer and brand builder, I constantly ask the question “Why?” and strive to answer it in every brand decision I make. Design is intentional, and I believe every aspect of a brand should be intentional as well. I thrive in the messy middle—taking differing thoughts and opinions about a brand, project, or event and shaping them into a successful execution.
