Let’s Brew Some
Brand Magic
Brand & Graphic Design by Emily Hendricks
My specialty is your brand.
At Sondery Studio, I craft intentional brands and design projects for small businesses and DMOs that highlight the meaning and purpose of their business values and help them feel confident in all aspects of their brand.
Does it feel like there is a gap between how you see your brand potential and how your business is currently being portrayed? My goal is to lessen that gap by working backward from magic. What is your ideal brand? How do you want your clients or visitors to feel when they interact with your brand or marketing materials? Do your clients seem confused about your offerings? Where are you now, and where do you want to be? Let’s start there.
Ready to feel confident and excited about your brand and marketing materials?
Let’s get brewing.
SONDER:
The feeling one has when realizing that every other individual one sees has a life as full and complex as one's own.
SONDERY STUDIO:
A graphic design and brand-building studio rooted in intention and kindness (with a little touch of magic) to visually tell that story.
Every person has a story and a purpose. Some people have figured out that their purpose intertwines with a business venture and that business requires a deep and meaningful brand as purposeful as the human investing in it.
So… What’s your story?
Does your brand reflect the deepness and complexity of it?
Let’s work together.

Print is not and will not be dead anytime soon! While I appreciate and respect digital design, my expertise lies in print design, and your business’s ability to physically interact with people lies within print design. Don’t let these projects be boring, as it is an important opportunity to differentiate your business and capitalize on a non-digital interaction with your potential clients. Let’s get your brand off the screen and in people’s hands.

As a small team, you may not be able to have an in-house design employee or be able to have an agency on call to fulfill the design projects that is within budget. Keep your brand fresh and consistent by keeping a designer (that’s me!) on hand who knows your brand and has a deep well of skills and resources to fulfill your creative needs.

Hello & Welcome.
I’m Emily!
I’m a graphic designer and brand builder with over 15 years of experience. After working in the print industry and managing wildly creative projects, I was introduced to the tourism industry while serving as the in-house creative for Visit Saint Paul. During my five years there, I focused on graphic design, as well as capturing photos and videos, and was honored to receive Destination International’s 30 Under 30 recognition in 2017. My most recent role in the tourism industry was as the Creative Director at Zartico, where I built and maintained brand consistency while handling all the day-to-day design work.
From day-to-day design execution to high-level brand strategy—I truly enjoy bringing a full and purposeful brand to life through every touchpoint of a business or destination.
As a designer and brand builder, I constantly ask the question “Why?” and strive to answer it in every brand decision I make. Design is intentional, and I believe every aspect of a brand should be intentional as well. I thrive in the messy middle—taking differing thoughts and opinions about a brand, project, or event and shaping them into a successful execution.
